Abstract:
Using fly ash, slag and silica fume as mineral admixtures, high performance concrete of low water-binder ratio was made. Through orthogonal test of concrete mix proportion in wet-dry cycling, the paper analyzed the effects and results of relevant factors on the performance of concrete sulfate corrosion and efflorescence. The results show that water binder ratio has the deepest influence, follows by silica fume, and fly ash and slag has less effect; effect changes with the variation of the content of mineral admixture except water binder ratio; the optimal mixture ratio is water binder ratio 0.33, silica fume 10%, fly ash 10% and slag 15%, considering of sulfate corrosion and efflorescence; HPC with low water binder ratio and mineral admixtures can help the crystallization of hydration products; the filling effects and superimposed pozzolanic effects increase the compactness of concrete. © 2017, The Press of NUC.
