Abstract:
Stress-strain relationship of concrete materials proposed in the International Code (CEB-FIP1990) and the Chinese Code (GB50010-2002) of concrete structure design is used to describe the static deformation characteristics of cement mortar material. The model parameters are studied via the experimental data, and they show that the stress-strain relationship proposed by the two codes can well describe the deformation characteristic of cement mortar materials by adjustment of material parameters. Based on stress- strain relationship of cement mortar materials, herein, a uniaxial dynamic strength criterion is proposed to obtain the uniaxial dynamic stress- strain relationship. The dynamic experimental result of cement mortar materials in our previous reports confirms that the dynamic stress- strain relationship is able to describe the uniaxial dynamic mechanical characteristics of cement mortar materials. In addition, the dynamic stress- strain relationship is verified with dynamic experimental results of cement mortar materials in the literatures.
