Abstract:
Multiferroic composites xZnFe(2)O(4)/(1-x)PZN-PZT were prepared by a conventional solid state reaction method. X-ray diffraction reveals that the spinel Zn ferrite can stabilize tetragonal phase against rhombohedral phase. The dielectric and ferroelectric properties of the multiferroic composites are strongly dependent on the composition of multiferroic composites. When x= 2.5, the dielectric constant, the remnant polarization and the coercive field of multiferroic composites simultaneously reach their maximum. The magnetic properties of corresponding composites are very different from that of pure ZnFe2O4 ceramic sample.
