进入20世纪80年代后,由于国民经济的恢复与持续发展,全国范围内材料加工专业毕业生供不应求.特别是石油化工、能源、航空航天、船舶、交通运输、管线建设、工程机械及电子工业等产品加工部门对材料加工专业毕业生需求更大.另外,材料加工专业学生在机电与材料方面有较宽的专业知识,就业的适应性较强.
