介绍了液晶材料光折变效应的基本概念及基本机理及特性,根据光折变液晶材料的发展,分别对掺杂染料的液晶、聚合物分散液晶、掺杂铁电材料液晶等几种液晶材料的光折变效应的各个发展过程及其存在的问题和研究现状作了较为详细的阐述,并展望了其今后的实际应用及发展方向.
