Abstract:
The quasineutral limit of the Navier-Stokes-Poisson system in the whole space R-d(d >= 1) and in the torus T-d is studied in this paper. It is shown that, for the well-prepared initial data, the global weak solution of the Navier-Stokes-Poisson system converges strongly to the strong solution of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations.
