Abstract：
通过对典型诗歌翻译理论及译例的分析,阐述了英诗汉译的一些基本原则,提出了英诗汉译＂要充分发挥汉语语言优势＂的观点,即在＂信＂(忠实于原文)的基础上进行再创作,力求做到＂达＂和＂雅＂要采用最好的汉语表达方式,而不一定采用对等的译文.
