Abstract：
介绍了语音编码方法的分类和几种典型的语音编码方法,分析了各种方法的特点及应用环境,并对ITU-T标准化了的语音编码在速率、时延、复杂性等方面进行了比较.大规模集成电路技术的发展使复杂的语音编码方案变成了现实,应用这些新编码方案可以使网络的语音承载能力在不引入新的设备的情况下成倍地增加.
