房屋租赁是指房屋所有人在约定的期限内将其房屋的占有和使用的权利有偿转移给承租人的一种法律行为.房屋所有人以有期限地出让房屋占有权、使用权的方式,而实现对其房屋的收益权.房屋的承租人支付一定的代价,取得在约定期限内的房屋的占有和使用的权利,并通过使用获取一定的利益.
