Abstract：
提出了一种基于小波分解的视频分级编码方法,该方法主要是对视频对象实施小波分解,将其低频子带与高频子带分别作为基本层与增强层进行编码,以实现视频对象的空域分级、时域分级与混合分级.同时,根据小波图像的方向性特点,采用了视觉模式图像编码(VPIC)方法,以提高编码效率.
