Abstract:
This paper studied the effects of electrochemical chloride extraction (ECE) on the bonding properties of corroded reinforced concrete with the anode of Magnesium phosphate cement (MPC) bond CFRP. The results indicated that ECE can efficiently remove the chloride ions in the concrete. The interfacial bonding properties of steel-concrete decreased with the increase of chloride removal current density. Proper corrosion ratio of steel bars can reduce the bonding strength loss caused by ECE treatment.
