Abstract:

We have designed and prepared heterostructured (SmCo7/FeCo)/SmCo5 multicomponent magnets by high-pressure thermal compression. The coordination and interaction behavior of SmCo7/FeCo and SmCo5 phase regions during high-pressure thermal compression and magnetic reversal process were studied. The introduction of SmCo5 can improve the coercivity of the magnet. The heterostructured (SmCo7/FeCo)/SmCo5 magnet with 30 wt% SmCo5 content shows optimal magnetic properties with M-r of 10.3 kG, H-ci of 6.0 kOe, and (BH)(max) of 16.7 MG Oe. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V.
