Abstract:

In IoT, numerous group of mobile nodes need to be located simultaneously, for instance, robots in industrial environment, military drill and tourism and the like. To address the issue mentioned above, a novel method of group - positioning was proposed, group partition algorithm and RSSI filter algorithm were designed and implemented. The algorithm was verified under the simulation of the group partition algorithm by MATLAB. In addition, in order to implement the algorithm, experimental wireless sensor network environment was constructed with the use of Micaz nodes. Experimental results showed that this method could reduce positioning time and extend network lifetime on the premise of high positioning accuracy.
