Abstract:
Air source heat pump (ASHP) is increasing widely used for residential heating. The purpose of the present work is investigating on application status of a village ASHP heating project in Beijing, testing and analyzing on operation status, coefficient of performance (COP), energy consumption, and energy saving rate of a typical ASHP heating system during two heating seasons by cumulative quantity of heat output and electric consumption every day or hour. The results show that ASHP heating system has a steady performance and maintains no less than 2.32 running COP at -2.04 degrees C outdoor ambient average temperature and 18.2 degrees C indoor average temperature of two heating seasons and up to 56.9% the energy saving rate comparing with the electric heating system.
