Abstract:

The current global environmental problems have become increasingly serious, vigorously develop the strategy of sustainable development has become an important issue facing the world, promote the development of green building is the important part of sustainable development. China's energy shortage of building energy consumption serious case, the implementation of energy-efficient green building is an inevitable requirement for China's sustainable economic development. This paper analyzes the concept of green building and features, based on life cycle cost of green building theory and engineering economics theory, a brief study of the costs and benefits of green building, build the environmental benefits of green building evaluation model, provide a theoretical basis for the evaluation of green building environmental benefits. As technology advances, the socio-economic development, people are enjoying tremendous cultural prosperity and material conditions meet, while the world is suffering from a shortage of natural resources and environmental pollution, global climate warming. The grim situation to improve the quality of life at the same time, we must pay attention to resource conservation and environmental protection to achieve sustainable development of human society. Construction industry have a great impact on the resources and environment, but the development of China's construction industry is the extensive development at the expense of high input, high consumption, high emission low efficiency and difficult cycle. China's building energy consumption caused by pollution is very serious, it brings huge energy consumption, heavy pollution and the large amount of carbon dioxide, sulfur trioxide from dust emissions, construction has reached 25% of the contribution rate of greenhouse gas emissions, coal-fired heating caused air pollution has reached the World Health Organization to the highest standards of 2 to 5 times. Therefore, the development of more environmentally and friendly energy sustainable building has become an inevitable choice for the development of China's construction industry. Green Building, also known as eco-building, sustainable building, is to provide people with healthy, comfortable and safe place to live, work and activities of space in the building life cycle to maximize conservation of resources (energy saving, section land, water, and materials), to protect the environment and reduce pollution, provide people with healthy, appropriate and efficient use of space, the building in harmony with nature.
