就神经网络对给定知识的表达、联想、记忆能力进行了研究，介绍了改进ＢＰ神经网络模型算法及其应用于智能监控领域应注意的问题，并对切削加工中的切屑状态进行了实例识别诊断，取得了令人满意的效果。
