Abstract:

:the rapid detection of antibiotics in agricultural productsis of great significance. In this work, two stablefluorescent metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), BUT-178 and BUT-179, are synthesizedand used to detect tetracycline antibiotics. Among them, BUT-179exhibits better performance in the detection of different tetracyclineantibiotics in water and eggs. The limits of detection of BUT-179 towardtetracycline, aureomycin, oxytetracycline, and doxycycline all reach thenanomolar level. Furthermore, the cycling tests confirm that BUT-179can be easily recovered and repeatedly used without an obviousperformance loss. This work demonstrates the excellent applicationpotential of MOFs for food safety, especially thefluorescence detectionof antibiotics in foods
