Abstract：

HighlightsThe　effect　of　ground　shaking　on　3D　rock　slope　stability　is　considered.The　upper　bound　expressions　of　both　the　stability　number　and　the　of　a　slope　subjected　to　seismic　force　are　derived.A　genetic　algorithm　optimization　code　is　designed　to　capture　the　optimal　solutions　of　the　objectives.
