Abstract:

With unique design concept, high entropy alloy coating has excellent mechanical properties and physical and chemical properties superior to traditional alloy coating, and high entropy alloy coating has strong application potential in many fields, which has attracted extensive attention of researchers. In this paper, the recent research progress of main preparation technology of high entropy alloy coating was reviewed, including laser cladding technology, thermal spraying technology, cold spraying technology, magnetron sputtering technology, electrochemical deposition technology etc. The advantages and disadvantages of each preparation technology and the performance characteristics of the high entropy alloy coating were analyzed in detail, and the problems in the research process of high entropy alloy coating at present were put forward, which provided reference and guidance for the follow-up research, application and development of high entropy alloy coating. © 2022, Science Press.
