Abstract:
In this paper, for discrete-time nonlinear systems, an event-based intelligent critic algorithm is researched to deal with two-player nonzero-sum game optimal tracking control problems (OTCPs). The OTCP of unknown nonlinear nonzero-sum games is transformed into the optimal regulation problem of corresponding error dynamics. According to the triggered requirement, we develop a reasonable triggering condition to cut down the number of updates for two controllers, which achieves the goal of improving resource utilization. Then, based on the dual heuristic programming (DHP) technique, the approximate optimal costate function and the tracking control pair are output through training neural networks (NNs). Finally, an example is wield to demonstrate the rationality of the proposed algorithm. © 2022 IEEE.
