Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to collect patent transfer data from 2014 to 2018 in China's UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) field, build a patent transfer network, and analyze the current status of patent transfer in this field; based on the perspective of social networks, explore the current status of China's provinces in the UVA field and come up with the future suggestions for development. The significance of the paper is to understand the characteristics of the interprovincial transaction network structure. And also, the paper provides countermeasures for promoting technology trading among provinces. Results show that the number of transferred patents between provinces increases, but they mainly occur in Beijing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, etc. Other provinces still have great potential in UAV field to be explored. The conclusion is that in the future we can encourage the core provinces in UAV field to transfer technology to those who are marginalized; technology-radiating provinces could establish research stations in technology-absorbing provinces in order to improve the harmonious development of both sides. © 2020 IEEE.
