Abstract:
A low-cost mixed nitrate with low melting point and high decomposition temperature was provided. The melting point, decomposition temperature, latent heat, specific heat, density, thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity and thermal stability were tested and analyzed, and base on the experimental data, the heat storage cost is calculated. The results show that the low cost mixed nitrate has a significant advantage on the melting point, decomposition temperature, cost and thermal stability, have the potential using as heat transfer and energy storage material in solar thermal power plants and nuclear power plants. © 2020, Editorial Board of Acta Energiae Solaris Sinica.
