Abstract:
A composite shear wall specimen with paralleled steel reinforced concrete (SRC) columns and a composite shear wall specimen with paralleled SRC columns and concealed partitioned steel plates were designed for low cyclic loading experiment. The following factors of the two specimens were studied: failure characteristics, bearing capacity, hysteretic characteristics, process of stiffness degradation, ductility and energy dissipation. The results show that the core system with paralleled SRC columns-concealed partitioned steel plates has good seismic behavior. A formula for calculating the stiffness, bearing capacity and inclined section bearing capacity of composite shear wall with paralleled SRC columns-concealed partitioned steel plates was proposed, and the calculation results agreed well with the experimental results. © 2016, Science Press.
