Abstract:
With the growth of population and the improvement of environmental requirements, sewage treatment plants as high energy consumption facilities, its power demand will continue to increase, of which pumps occupy a large proportion. In view of the high energy consumption of sewage treatment plant pumps, firstly, the optimal scheduling model of multi-type pumps running in parallel is established by analyzing the running data of pumps. Secondly, particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to solve the parameters of the pump, and on the basis of ensuring the normal operation of the water plant, the number and frequency of opening of different types of pumps are solved, so as to meet the demand and reduce the energy consumption of the pump system. Finally, simulation experiments are carried out using MATLAB platform with two types of pumps, industrial frequency and variable frequency, to verify the effectiveness of the model in energy saving. © 2023 IEEE.
