Abstract:
CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) image sensors, as a crucial image capture technology, find wide applications in fields such as photography, video recording, and surveillance. Power delivery circuits are pivotal components in ensuring the precision, stability, and driving capability of CMOS image sensors. They have a significant impact on the clarity of image capture, as well as the sensor's performance metrics like resolution, frame rate, and more.In this paper, a stable and reliable power driver for Gpixel's CMOS sensor, GENSE2020, is designed, allowing seamless switching between HDR (High Dynamic Range Imaging) and DDS (Delta Double Sampling) modes. The voltage noise is maintained below 10mV, providing a maximum bias current driving capability of 50mA. The power circuit design proposed in this paper for the CMOS image sensor holds valuable reference value. © 2023 ACM.
