Abstract:
As time goes on, a lot of old residential communities have stepped into the accident season, which often have no condition for deploying the monitoring systems for the safety of building structure. Modern mobile and information technologies make it possible for the residents in the community to preliminarily check and roughly report the structure problems by taking photos with digital camera or mobile phone. These photos and their metadata are uploaded to the data server, and then integrated with the building ontology into a platform named LarKC. We present the ontology-based building model, which gives the formal description of each building and its interior units. By the semantic attributes, the photos are adhered to the buildings on the map and displayed in corresponding webpage. The risk factors of the building and its interior units will be recalculated when a new photo arrives, and the early warning can be triggered under some warning rules. At last we describe the concrete implementation of this system and give some actual-effect pictures of the already-developed works. ©, 2015, Journal of Computational Information Systems.
