Abstract:

A self-adaptive laser based on a diode bar side pumped Nd: YVO4 slab with opened-loop reciprocal cavity completed by dynamic holographic gratings is created. The output power, optical-to-optical efficiency, frequency spectrum and spatial characteristics of the generated beam are examined. Compared with similar structure of traditional laser oscillator, the holographic gratings are exist in the opened-loop reciprocal cavity and the obvious modulation of the transverse mode and longitudinal mode is observed.
