This paper investigates experimentally the vortex-induced vibration (VIV) of a dual-mass system characterized by two natural frequencies. Five different frequency ratios (R = 1.38, 1.59, 1.66, 1.77, and 1.94) were studied across a range of Reynolds numbers 4500 © 2025 Elsevier Ltd
