Abstract:
Based on ICM method, an approximately explicit topological optimization model of plate-and shell-like structures is established to minimize the weight with displacement constraints under multi-state loadings. The model is solved by SQP (sequential quadratic programming) algorithm using exact dual mapping and the optimal topology is obtained finally. Several numerical examples show that: (1) ICM method is effective in dealing with the topological optimization of plate-and shell-like structures under multi-state loadings, which possesses the advantages of fast convergence and good stability; (2) both boundary conditions and displacement constraint values can produce influence on the results of structural topology optimization; (3) the force-transfer path in multi-state loadings is not a simple superposition of those in each single-state loading.
