Abstract:

In order to make energy dissipation technology apply to the actual reinforcement project better. In this paper, the common type of energy dissipation devices and working principle at home and abroad are summarized. The difference between traditional seismic technology and energy dissipation technology is briefly introduced. The mechanics theory and calculation method of viscous damper are described in detail. By adopting Sap2000, and according to practical engineering, the general process of energy dissipation design is expounded, and the conditions of structural before and after reinforcement are compared. The analysis results prove that earthquake response of structure is effectively reduced on adopting energy dissipation technology, and so the engineering reaches the requirements of the seismic code.
