Abstract:
Aiming at the problems that 3D user interface configuration process was complicated and human-computer interaction was not natural, which hampered the application of 3D configuration software, a 3D user interface configuration method based on semantic virtual connector was proposed. By building the virtual scene modeling ontology, the method could make the human-computer interaction in 3D user interface configuration more easier with the aid of ontology semantic information. The virtual connector concept was presented. As a carrier of the semantic information of human-computer interaction, virtual connectors were used to represent the possible connection relationships in scene objects. The automatic configuration connection between the scene objects was realized, and then users could perform complex modeling task through the simple human-computer interaction. The validity of this method was verified by the 3D configuration software prototype system in chemical field.
