Abstract:

This paper introduces the calculation procedure of impedance function of stratified soil with underground structures through thin layer method (TLM) combining flexible volume method, which is applied to displacement response method. Horizontal, vertical and rotating motion characteristics are considered, and its calculation accuracy is improved significantly. Based on the shaking table test of typical subway station in Beijing, general displacement response method and displacement response method based on TLM are used to analyze the stress and deformation of the subway station. Then, the stress and deformation values of the subway station calculated by general displacement response method and displacement response method based on TLM are compared with those of shaking table tests. Results show that displacement response method based on TLM agrees well with the shaking table test of subway station, and its applicability can be verified.
