To　solve　the　ever-increasing　challenging　problem　of　privacy　protection　in　location-based　services　(LBS),　after　studying　the　characteristics　of　privacy　protection　in　LBS　and　current　methods　for　privacy　protection,　a　three-dimensional　access　control　matrix　model　and　the　corresponding　method　based　on　the　model　for　privacy　protection　are　proposed.　Then　the　application　of　the　proposed　model　and　method　for　privacy　protection　in　LBS　are　illustrated　through　an　example.　Compared　to　other　existing　methods　for　privacy　protection,　the　proposed　model　and　method　has　the　advantage　of　offering　a　comprehensive　and　flexible　solution　for　the　protection　of　user　privacy.
