Abstract:

For an AMD control system driven by linear motor, the performance of directive force, feedback driving force, actual driving force and time lag were tested. According to the experimental results of constant directive force, the calculation formulas of ripple thrust and comprehensive resistance force for AMD control system were presented through defining friction force and other factors expected for ripple thrust as comprehensive resistance force. The performance test was carried out for AMD control system driven by linear motor under the sine directive force with different frequencies and amplitudes. The results show that the proposed calculation formulas of ripple thrust and comprehensive resistance force are adequate and the time lag of AMD control system driven by linear motor is 5ms, suggesting that the time-lag performance of AMD control system driven by linear motor can meet the ms-degree requirement of seismic and wind vibration control for civil engineering structures.
