To　solve　problems　of　current　bevel　gear　measurement,　the　authors　developed　a　CNC-type　bevel　gear　deviations　measuring　machine,　and　achieved　high　precision　and　efficient　inspection.　This　paper　presents　the　principle　of　measurement　and　the　configuration　of　the　machine,　expounds　the　measurement　technology　and　the　evaluation　of　bevel　gear　individual　errors,　and　proposes　the　mathematical　formula　of　runout　derived　from　pitch　error.　The　formula　is　based　on　the　analysis　between　bevel　gear　pitch　error　measurement　and　traditional　runout　measurement.
