Abstract:

In order to study the influence of non-prestressed steel tendons of the flexural strength of prestressed concrete beams with bonded FRP tendons, this paper defines the failure modes, presents the equations for flexural strength, recommends the strength reduction factors, and the calculated results by the proposed method are calibrated with test data. Finally suggestions for FRP prestressed concrete beam design are proposed.
