Abstract:
n-type CaMnO3oxide with perovskite structure is one kind of promising thermoelectric materials which can be applied in high temperature fields. In this paper, CaMnO3colloid was prepared through sol-gel method with citric acid as chelate, deionized water and ethylene glycol as solvent and, Ca (NO3)2·2H2O, Mn (NO3)2as starting materials. Perovskite polycrystaline CaMnO3was prepared via calcining precursor of the dry gel. In the end, analyzed properties of CaMnO3precursor or powder with TG-DTA, XRD, FT-IR and SEM, the results indicated that, the perovskite-structured CaMnO3polycrystaline could be formed though calcining precursor at 950°C for 5 h.
