Abstract:

A spiral coil cavity solar receiver was proposed for a dish solar concentrator for hydrogen generation developed by Institution of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Science. The physical and mathematical model was established to describe the process of heat transfer and flow in the solar receiver. Simulations were performed to analysis the influences of the configuration parameters on the performances of the solar receiver and the optimum values of the configuration parameters were obtained.
