Abstract:

An experimental investigation on heat transfer performance of a micro capillary groove evaporator for heat dissipation of high power electronic chip had been performed. The binary liquid mixture used in this experiment was 2-Methylpentane and methanol. Compared with the available results in the previous studies, the experimental results showed that the temperature of the chip could be reduced in the range of 7-9°C at the same heat flux.
