Abstract:
ZTS crystals have been grown from aqueous solution by slow cooling technique. The largest size of the crystals is 28 × 16 × 14 mm3. The lattice parameters and the space group have been obtained by the X-ray powder diffraction. The NLO properties of the crystal have been measured by the test of powder frequency-doubling experiment, and compared with that of KDP crystal. The result shows that ZTS crystal is a good and phase-matching NLO material. The transmissibility of the crystal is not less than 80% in the wave length range 350-1400 nm.
