Abstract:

In order to calculate and understand the deformation and destruction process of the test specimens in theory, the elastoplastic finite element analysis of RC mid-rise shear wall with concealed bracings under lateral loading was carried out by ANSYS program based on experimental research. At the same time, the reason of the computing error was analyzed. The finite element computing results were in good agreement with that of the test.
