Abstract:
A light-pumped high efficient Nd:YAG KTP frequency-doubled green laser is demonstrated. Utilizing a L-shape folded resonator and a KTP crystal for intracatity frequency doubled, a maximum average output power at 532 nm of 63W is obtained at 10 kHz repeated rate when the pump current is set at 16 A. The beam quality is comparatively feasible, and the fundamental frequency ingredient is less than 1%.Additionally, a light-to-light conversion efficiency of 63.8% is acquired when the repetition rate is set at 8 kHz. During the experiments, the stability of the green laser output power is analyzed theoretically.
