Abstract:

Hemodynamics are thought to play an important role in the creation, thrombosis, recanalization, regrowth and re-bleeding of cerebral aneurysms treated by endovascular means. And the 3D reconstruction of cerebral aneurysms and vessels is the fundamental approach. According to CT scanning data from PLA general hospital, clinical 3D cerebral aneurysm is reconstructed integrating MIMICS 8.1 digital medical image management software. At last, the result document was transferred to ANSYS software. Cerebral aneurysm FEM, which can be applied to simulation of hemodynamics in cerebral aneurysm, is presented. This model is not only digital but also individual, and can be used to calculate mechanical property in cerebral aneurysm, which is contributed to its prevention in rupture and endovascular treatment theoretically.
