Abstract:
In order to investigate isolator properties, vibration properties and isolated effect of continuous girder isolated bridges with lead rubber bearings (LRB) under multi-directional excitation, the simulated earthquake tests of a seismically isolated bridge model consisting of multi-span continuous deck are carried out on a shaking table under multi-directional earthquake input. The acceleration and displacement response trend of the deck and the pier-cap of the isolated bridge, and vertical force and horizontal force-deformation restoring force relationship of LRB are studied under unidirectional, bi-directional, and multi-directional earthquake input. Some reasonable and valuable conclusions are obtained for design of continuous girder isolated bridges.
