Abstract:

CFD model is created base on compressible gas and uncompressible liquid, and flow characteristics of gas-liquid two-phase flow in a novel non-slam check valve are simulated by using of CFX, press drop characteristics are obtained under different liquid volume fraction of this check valve. The result shows that flow is stable, and the pressure is uniform, and the total pressure drop is small.
