Abstract:

Anti-fouling experiments for heat transfer enhancement using high-voltage electrostatic field are carried out by static and dynamic methods. The results of static experiment indicate that, under the high-voltage electrostatic field, crystal changes in configuration from hexahedron to branch or slice, and enlarges in size. Furthermore, the results of dynamic experiment indicate that, the fouling resistance decrease extraordinarily with treatment of high-voltage electrostatic field, and anti-fouling capability of solution increases with high flow velocity.
