Abstract:
In order to implement software integration of geometric design and machine setting calculation for Kelingelnberg cycloid spiral bevel gear, a CAD and machine setting algorithm software system was developed based on Visual Basic 6.0 program language and AutoCAD 2004 software platform. The software system can complete geometry parameter calculation, strength check, machine parameter setting calculation, data output, parametric drawing and solid modeling of Klingelnberg cycloid bevel gear. The example shows that the operation results of the software system can be applied to engineering design and tooth machining of Kelingelnberg cycloid spiral bevel gear.
