Abstract:

Two 1/6 scale models of short pier RC shear wall structure with and without concealed bracings were tested on the shaking table. Based on the experiments, a parallel multi-component model with core brim, a parallel multi-component model with core brim and oblique link, and a beam model with obliquelink were put forward to analyze short pier shear wall structure. The proposed calculating model considered of the contribution of the alar plate to the stiffness. The stiffness matrix and the constitutive relations of all the constituent components were proposed. At last, two examples of short pier shear wall structure were calculated and compared with the experimental results. The calculating results were agreed well with the experimental results, which show that the analysis model is effective.
