Abstract:

We multiplex 20 plane-wave holograms in LiNbO3:Fe:Cu crystal with recording beams at 633 nm and gating beam at 365 nm. Their average fixing efficiency reaches 79%, and after-fixing dynamic range M/# is 1.50. The effect gating intensity, and intensity ratio of writing to gating beam on two-color recording performances of multiplexing holograms in LiNbO3:Fe:Cu crystal is investigated. The experimental results show that the decrease of the intensity ratio of writing to gating beam and the increase of the gating intensity at the same time will result in higher average fixing efficiency and dynamic range. On the other hand, the experimental results indicate that the higher the intensity ratio of writing to gating beam, the higher recording sensitivity.
