Abstract:

In order to study engine combustion by analyzing cylinder pressure, software of data acquisition and analysis was developed based on Virtual Instrument LabVIEW. The acquisition software communicated the acquisition board and LabVIEW, realizing the acquisition of engine cylinder pressure and crank angle. The analysis software enforced combustion analysis based on cylinder pressure and crank angle, obtaining heat release rate and indicator diagram curves by determining TDC through motoring engine. HCCI cylinder pressure and crank angle signals were sampled and analyzed by the software. The engine test showed that this software satisfied the basic combustion analysis demands.
